An air strike targeted a house in northern Rafah this morning, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports.

Due to network outages, an exact number of casualties could not be confirmed, but many with severe injuries were reported to be admitted to al-Najjar Hospital.

In Khan Younis, overnight air strikes and heavy bombardment killed five people as the Israeli military tanks and army vehicles pushed deeper into the vicinity of Nasser hospital and the Jordanian field hospital, the report added.

The Israeli military, along with its tanks and armoured vehicles and invading forces, has not left the area. They are causing a wave of panic among people sheltering inside Nasser hospital.
