Amber Alayyan, a doctor working with Doctors Without Borders (MSF), has said that the conditions at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis are deteriorating quickly as Israel continues to bomb areas around the medical centre, Al Jazeera reports.
“There are populations sheltering in the hospital because they don’t feel safe anywhere else. And when that population no longer feels safe in the hospital, it’s an indicator for us that the situation for the hospital is becoming untenable,” Alayyan told AJ.
She added that circumstances are “absolutely unbearable”.
