The Israeli army says its latest air strikes have killed five Palestinian fighters in north Gaza and a number of others in Khan Younis, Al Jazeera reports.
It said, in a post on X, to have confiscated extensive Hamas weaponry, including AK-47s, handguns, and grenades in Khan Younis, in addition to “neutralising terrorists”.
The latest Israeli air strikes have also killed dozens of civilians, including women and children, according to the Palestinian Wafa news agency. The victims include three displaced family members who were sheltering in a tent in Mawasi evacuation zone.
