Biden delivers ‘private message to Iran’ about Houthis

US President Joe Biden has said he delivered a private message to Iran about the Houthi movement.

Speaking to reporters at the White House today, Biden said: “We delivered it privately, and we’re confident we’re well prepared.”

The statement came after US and UK forces launched air strikes on Houthi-controlled areas in southern Yemen on Saturday and Friday.
