ISLAMABAD, Feb 25: President Gen Pervez Musharraf has said that Pakistan’s defence institutions are working in an efficient manners and the armed forces are moulded with modern defence needs and changing scenario.

He was talking to the chief of Sri Lankan Army, Admiral Daya Saudagire, who called on him at the Army House, Rawalpindi, on Saturday.

They exchanged views on matters related to mutual interest and technical affairs besides cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.

President Musharraf said that the cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lankan armed forces would be enhanced and benefit from each other’s experience.—Online
