Scores of Israeli settlers break into al-Aqsa mosque

A number of settlers, protected by Israeli police, forced their way into al-Aqsa Mosque compound and performed Talmudic rituals nearby, Al Jazeera reports citing Wafa news agency.

Far-right Israeli settlers often storm the compound which is located in the heart of occupied East Jerusalem, advocating for it to be replaced with a third Jewish temple or split up, according to Al Jazeera.
