Sindh varsity bag honours

HYDERABAD, Feb 23: University of Sindh clinched the Pakistan Inter-university Boxing Championship on Wednesday while the University of Punjab secured second position and the University of Peshawar secured third position.

The hosts won six gold medals, one silver and 12 bronze medals to claim the championship.

The University of Punjab earned three gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

The University of Peshawar secured five silver and two bronze medals.

Qasim Khan of the University of Sindh was declared as the best boxer of the championship.

About hundred boxers from seven universities participated in the championship.
