UN humanitarian aid chief Martin Griffiths has expressed his frustration at how life-saving assistance is being hampered from entering war-torn Gaza safely and efficiently.
In a post on X, Griffiths asks: “You think getting aid into Gaza is easy? Think again.”
The government no longer has the budgetary space to continue carrying hundreds of billions of rupees in untargeted subsidies while the power sector itself remains trapped in circular debt, inefficiencies, theft and under-recovery.
