BAHAWALPUR: Incidents of poor visibility due to thick fog resulted in two accidents on Thursday, causing injuries to several people in Lodhran and Khanewal.

Five people, including two women, sustained serious injuries when the wagon they were traveling in overturned due to poor visibility caused by fog in Multan Road area near Bashahti Nahar in Lodhran.

As the wagon overturned, an Alto car also collided with it. The injured were shifted to the Lodhran DHQ Hospital and identified as Saba Yousaf, Seemab, Ubiad Akhtar, Abdul Raheem, and Muhammad Adil.

TOBA TEK SINGH: More than a dozen passengers were injured as a result of a collision between a bus and a trailer due to intense fog at Khanewal on Lahore-Multan Road on Thursday morning. Rescue 1122 officials reported that the bus, bound for Multan from Lahore, collided with the trailer near Adda James Abad. Ambulances shifted the wounded bus passengers to the DHQ hospital. They were identified as Bushra Bibi, Ramzan, Muafia Bibi, Iqbal, Shahzad, Waseem, Shahid, Ijaz, Imran, Habib, and Zeshan.
