TAXILA: Pindigheb police have registered a case against four suspects on charges of abducting and gang-raping a married woman in Mohallah Gulzarabad.

The victim’s husband, a native of Peshawar, reported to police that he was living with his wife in Mohallah Gulzarabad in Pindigheb town of Attock.

He said one of the suspects abducted his wife and took her to Chakki village where he along with his three friends raped her for four days.

Later, she managed to escape and reached the house and revealed her ordeal.

He then took her to the police station and after medical examination which confirmed the rape, police registered a case against four nominated suspects under section 496-A, 376-iii and 375-A of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and launched a search for the suspects.
