KARACHI: Ali Hamza showcased resilience and skill in the 31st Sindh Cup final securing a thrilling 5-4 victory over Zulfiqar A. Qadir here at the Black Ball Snooker Club Gizri.

In an impressive comeback, Ali overcame a two-set deficit to claim the title and a prize of Rs60,000.Zulfiqar took an early lead with victories in the first two frames (51-40, 66-30), but Ali swiftly equalised with triumphs in the next two (57-30, 69-16). Despite Zulfiqar regaining a two-frame advantage (56-14, 55-32), Ali orchestrated a remarkable turnaround, seizing the final three frames (68-14, 76-12, 67-58) to clinch the trophy.

Ali Hamza’s triumph not only secured the Sindh Cup but also earned him a spot in the upcoming national snooker championship scheduled for next year.
