Palestinian journalist Motaz Azaiza, who is reporting from Gaza, says the northern part of the enclave is under intense Israeli bombardment and people are being killed every five to six minutes.

In a video message on X (formerly Twitter), he said: “Today in the morning, there was a new massacre in Jabalia refugee camp … what is happening there is something no one can imagine.”

He said there was no way for journalists to reach the north and the two remaining journalists there were injured in an Israeli attack.

“Every day there is a new genocide, every day there is a new massacre.”
