KARACHI: Thar Express

KARACHI, Feb 22: Divisional Superintendent (Karachi) of Pakistan Railways on Wednesday issued guidelines for the information and convenience of the passengers of Thar Express.

The free luggage allowance per passengers is 35 kgs, including the weight of bedding. Heavy luggage which cannot be carried by a passenger in compartment will be booked in brake van and the responsibility of getting the same cleared through customs will rest with the passenger concerned at the designated customs check points.

The luggage in excess of this maximum limit will not be permitted and appropriate penalties would be applied in this regard.—PPI
