The Director General of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Munir Al-Bursh, has provided Al Jazeera with an update on the latest health care situation in Gaza.

He says 20 people have been killed, while 25 wounded people have been brought to hospitals across Gaza this morning.

“The Israeli army is conducting genocide against the Palestinian people, especially children,” he said, adding that Israeli forces want to halt health services in Gaza through persistent bombing.

The number of people who have been evacuated from Gaza for treatment is small compared to the total number of people who need it, he added.
