KARACHI, Feb 22: Seven ships carrying steel cargo, high speed diesel and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where eight ships were berthed. They are: APL Orchid, Argonaut and Eax Sanctity to unload and load containers, Shalamar, Asdrubal to unload high speed diesel, Han Zhong Men, Parsian to offload and load general cargo, and Domgxo Mamgjao, to offload coal.

Seven vessels, Thor Captain, Pu He, APL Orchid, Gardenia Ace, Al-Marwah, Ashraf Bay and Iran Eghbal departed on Wednesdy, while Swat, Badulu Valley, Benefit Wisdom, Caribic, Argonaut, Mercs, Ruhunu, Stella-M, Hyundai Future, and Shalamar are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.107m tons comprising 22,635 tons of export cargo and 84,120 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Morning Glory, with high speed diesel, Jaru Bhum, Mac Aandresew Wala, Ocean Wisdom, Corin Thaikos, with containers, Multan, with general cargo and Win Eagle, with steel cargo.
