ABBOTTABAD, Feb 2: District Nazim, Col (retd) Mustafa Jadoon, has said that District Headquarters Hospital, Abbottabad, will be run to full capacity and a few departments of Women & Children Hospital will be shifted to the DHQ shortly.

This he said while addressing a public meeting at Kehal arranged by the Nazim of City Urban Union Council, Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani.

Mustafa Jadoon said that an amount of Rs23 lakh had been received from PTCL for digging and laying lines which will be allocated for the repair and construction of city roads. The Kehal UC had been allocated Rs14 lakh, he said.

District Nazim said an inquiry into the alleged misappropriation of Rs60 lakh allocated for the construction of Kunj Football Stadium had been ordered but in the meantime the construction work will be started shortly.

About the construction of Cricket Stadium by the Board of Cricket Control of Pakistan at Nawansher, Jadoon said that it will be completed before May this year.

About the problem of graveyard for the city, the District Nazim said two sites were under consideration and a final decision will be taken after a report was submitted by the MC officials.

Naib Nazim Barrister Javed Abbasi said the new system was going to change the destiny of the people, especially of those who were neglected by rulers for one reason or another.
