HYDERABAD, Feb 21: Jamshoro District on Tuesday registered a 130-run victory against Sukkur in the second match of PCB Inter-district women league cricket at PCB Ground Rani Bagh.

Batting first, Jamshoro scored 202 runs for the loss of two wickets as a result of fine innings by Nosheen Channa (80) and Kiran (47). Shaheen Saba and Bina Abbasi shared one wicket each giving 26 and 31 runs.

Sukkur were restricted to 72 for nine wickets in their allotted overs.

Bina Abbasi (10) was the topscorer. Nasheen claimed four wickets for only seven runs. Kiran Baloch 2 for 19 and Shazia Murtaza two for 21 were the other wicket takers.

TRIALS: The trials for Inter-region women cricket tournament Hyderabad women cricket team would be held on Feb 23.

Interested players are advised to report to selection committee members Shakeel Qureshi, Yar Mohammad Solangi and Rahat Ali Shah.
