The Israeli army says one more of its soldiers was killed during fighting in southern Gaza. The military identified him as Shay Uriel Pizem, 23, Al Jazeera reports.
Since October 7, nearly 450 Israeli soldiers have been killed.
The announcement comes on the same day military authorities said the bodies of three captives, including two soldiers and a civilian, were retrieved and brought back to Israel from Gaza.
