KARACHI: The Jamaat-i-Islami on Wednesday launched a youth membership campaign in the city.

Speaking at a press conference here, JI-Karachi chief Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that his party had come up with a message of hope and positivity for the youth of Karachi. He said that the JI brought IT-based jobs and businesses-oriented training and literacy courses for the youth and currently some 193 batches comprising thousands of male and female students were being trained in 35 campuses across the city under the Bano Qabil program.

“There is no job for the youngsters of Karachi and there are no sports and education facilities for our youngsters,” said Hafiz Naeem. “It’s the results of criminal negligence of the Pakistan People Party and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement that brought miseries to our youth.”
