More air strikes took place across the Gaza Strip, concentrating in the central part, including Maghazi and Nuseirat refugee camps, Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from Rafah, southern Gaza.
In Maghazi, 23 people were killed as relentless air strikes pounded residential blocks and damaged surrounding areas. There is fear that more people are under the rubble.
The bodies and those wounded in both attacks where rushed to al-Aqsa Hospital which is already overrun by a large number of patients.
Meanwhile, fighting continues in Khan Younis on the ground under heavy bombardment.
