Israel’s 98th Paratrooper Division is leading the attack on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, according to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Four Israeli divisions are engaged in “high intensity” fighting with Hamas across the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reports.

Hamas’s Qassam Brigades, Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s al-Quds Brigades, the Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, described as self-affiliated to Fatah, and the Popular Resistance Committee’s al Nasser Salah al-Din Brigades, are all involved in fighting around Khan Younis, according to the ISW.
