The World Food Programme has warned that the renewed fighting in Gaza “will only intensify the catastrophic hunger crisis” that it said already threatens to overwhelm the Palestinians.
Calling for a humanitarian ceasefire, the WFP urged all world leaders to “work with the utmost urgency to end the suffering” of Gazans.
