KARACHI: Noted British singer and theatre artist Daniel MacAlistair Gott conducted a workshop for the students of National Academy of Performing Arts (Napa) on Friday at the Zia Mohyeddin Theater.

According to a press release, the artist, who is also an associate professor of performing arts at the American University of Sharjah, is in Karachi on a special invitation by Napa. The workshop is part of a series of engagements with the Napa students and the youth of Karachi.

Gott conducted various theatre exercises to the students exploring impulse, and developing ensemble through exploration of shared musicality.

He will conduct another workshop that would be open for general students of Napa as the Friday one was restricted to only 20 students.

Gott will also perform at the open house that is being held at Napa on Saturday (today).
