More than 100,000 cases of acute respiratory infection have been recorded in the Gaza strip since the start of the current escalation on Oct 7, the UN OCHA has quoted the World Health Organisation chief as saying.
He further said that 36,000 cases of diarrhoea in children below five and 24,000 cases of skin rash had been recorded since the start of the crisis, the OCHA stated in an update.
There are also initial reports of disease outbreaks, including hepatitis, the agency said.
