Explosives, arms seized

PESHAWAR, Feb 17: Security forces have found heavy arms, ammunition and explosives, most of them foreign made, from the Paya area near Dara Adamkhel on Friday.

The Inter-Services Public Relations said in a press release that terrorists were planning to transport the weapons to North Waziristan Agency for terrorist activities and further investigations were underway.

The seized arms and ammunition included some rocket launchers, 122 mortar bombs, 37 rockets, fuses and cartridges. The search was conducted about five km north of Dara Adamkhel.—Bureau Report
