Hind Khoudary, a Palestinian journalist based in the Gaza Strip, says at least seven Gazans were shot in their legs as they tried to return home during the four-day humanitarian pause between Israel and Hamas.

“As the Israeli forces declared a humanitarian pause, Palestinians are still being shot by the Israeli forces. At least seven Palestinians have been shot in their legs after they tried to cross from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip,” she said.

“These Palestinians wanted to go home during the humanitarian pause. They wanted to see their families, they wanted to visit their houses they wanted to bring the bodies of their families […] They were not able to move, to mobilise, to transport from a place to another in the Gaza Strip. And all of these Palestinians were shot in their legs,” she added.
