US Secretary of State Antony Blinken welcomes the agreement reached between Israel and Hamas on the release of the 50 hostages and thanked Qatar and Egypt for their partnership on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
He also said that the outcome was the “result of tireless diplomacy and relentless effort across the United States government,” adding that the US won’t rest as long as Hamas holds hostages in Gaza.
