MULTAN, Feb 16: Pakistan will be without fast bowler Umar Gul for the fifth and final One-day International against India. Umar, who missed the fourth match on Thursday due to a hip injury, has been sent back to Lahore for treatment and rehabilitation.

Pakistan had also lost fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar and all-rounder Shahid Afridi due to fitness problems in the series.

The 21-year old Umar played in the first three one-dayers against India and has appeared in five Tests and 18 one-dayers.

Shoaib was due to see a specialist on Thursday to find out how long he needs to recover from a stress fracture of his ankle.—Reuters
