A “great state of panic and fear” is prevailing among the patients, medical staff of and families, after the Israeli army ordered the Al-Shifa medical complex within one hour, Al Jazeera reports.

“They consider this decision, this order to be an impossible decision to make because they have no ambulances functioning to take that great number of patients to the south,” the report added.

There are more than 300 patients in the hospital with no transport. “According to our medical sources, most of them are in critical condition and they cannot make the trip on beds to the south,” the report adds.
