The Palestine Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has welcomed the referral to the International Criminal Corut on the situation in the state after Israel’s unrelenting bombardment of the occupied Gaza Strip.

In a statement on X, it said: “The State of Palestine welcomes the referral to the International Criminal Court on the Situation in the State of Palestine by the Republic of South Africa, The People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Plurinational State of Bolivia, the Union of Comoros, and the republic of Djibouti.

“The international impunity Israel enjoys and has enjoyed for 75 years must come to an end.”
