The Red Cross is “shocked and appalled” by the images and reports coming from Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital as Israel lays seige to the facility, its director general Robet Mardini has said.
“The unbearably desperate situation for patients and staff trapped inside must stop. Now.
“Hospitals, patients, staff and health care must be protected. Period.”
