Lynn Hastings, the United Nations humanitarian coordinator in Palestine, has stated, “Civilian infrastructure cannot be used for military operations.”
“Principles of proportionality, distinction must be respected. There must be a humanitarian ceasfire,” she demanded while noting there were reports of strikes in the vicinity of Gaza’s Al-Shifa Hospital.
