“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” Jamaat-i-Islami leader Hafiz Naeemur Rehman chanted as he led a pro-Palestine rally in Karachi.
In a speech at the protest, he said people across the world had denounced Israel’s brutal killing of Muslims in Gaza. “Therefore, we have decided that not to recognise the state,” Rehman stated.
He also criticised America’s support forIsrael and recalled US actions in Muslims states such as Iraq, Afghanistan and countries in the Middle East.
