The Red Cross in the occupied Palestinian territories has said it was “deeply troubled” after its humanitarian convoy came under fire in Gaza City.
“It was carrying life-saving medical supplies to health facilities, including Al-Quds [Palestinian Red Crescent] hospital.”
“Under [humanitarian international law], humanitarian workers must be protected,” it added.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said, “Two trucks were damaged and a driver was lightly wounded.”
