QUETTA: A grenade attack on a construction company’s camp in the Mangochar area of Kalat district left at least four labourers wounded, on late Saturday night.

The injured labourers, identified as Nizakat Ali, Abdul Manan, Attaullah, and Mohammad Saeed, hailing from Punjab, were taken to the district hospital by Levies and other security forces.

A search operation has been initiated following the ambush, which marks the second attack on labourers from Punjab.

The previous incident resulted in the death of six labourers building a contractor’s house in Turbat’s Satellite Town area some two weeks ago.
