LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf says party chairman Imran Khan is being pushed against the wall at gunpoint and being sent “out-of-field” in the name of level-playing field.

PTI central deputy secretary information Aamer Mughal says the incumbent government has created a political crisis in the country by lodging over 200 cases against the party chairman and thousands of cases against the party.

He stated the cipher being used to try Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi under treason charges was actually a proof that the PTI government was toppled at the behest of the US government.

The information deputy secretary said the country’s 65 per cent youth population was standing tall with the Imran Khan’s ideology of “Haqeeqi Azadi” (real freedom) and this was why the general election date was not announced. Since the establishment has completely implemented the London Plan, Mr Mughal asserted the Pakistani nation was determined to avenge the London Plan by polling votes for Imran Khan.

“If the ongoing fascism is not stopped and all political parties are not allowed level-playing field and efforts continue to bring the convict in power, there may be great disaster as the youth is losing its patience,” he asserted.

Stating that the establishment and higher judiciary alongside Nawaz Sharif will be responsible for any debacle, Mr Mughal urged the higher judiciary to take note of the serious situation and ensure that the oppression being committed against Imran Khan and PTI workers be stopped forthwith.

He stressed the judiciary should ensure that free and fair elections should be held in the country so that the 250 million people of Pakistan could elect their leader.
