LAHORE: Three more Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) women leaders on Tuesday joined Jahangir Khan Tareen’s Instekham-i-Pakistan Party (IPP). PTI’s Andleeb Abbas, Sadia Sohail and Sumaira Bokhari called on Tareen in Lahore and announced joining the IPP.

Later, in the day they announced their decision in a press conference.

However, the former PTI leaders did not take on their former leader Imran Khan.

Flanked by IPP Information Secretary Firdous Ashiq Awan, Andleeb Abbas said: “The IPP will make a strong Pakistan. We have a cause to follow which is above from a party and an individual. We have joined the IPP for a cause.”

Sadia Sohail said: “We are sitting here together for Pakistan. May 9 should not have happened. All institutions should be respected.”

Sumaira Bokhari said nothing was more important than Pakistan. When asked why they chose to join hands with Tareen and Aleem Khan who [allegedly] represent mafias in the country and their reason to quit the PTI, the trio chose not to respond any of the queries.

The trio appeared tense and there were no smiles on their faces.
