QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has emphasised that education serves as the shared wealth of all humanity and is the driving force behind the progress and development of societies.

He made these remarks while addressing the students during the 2nd Convocation of Al-Hamd Islamic University. Mr Kakar also acknowledged the role that private universities play in advancing education.

Former senator Haji Lashkari Raisani was the guest of honour. The event was also attended by Brigadier Dr Waseem Khaliq, the dean and director of the National University of Science and Technology, Balochistan campus, along with other guests.

“The degree that doesn’t bring change in you should be sceptically reviewed,” the governor told the students.
