NAWABSHAH, Feb 11: The district judicial magistrate raided the B-section police station, Linepar, on Saturday and recovered two people from illegal detention.

Mohammad Arif, resident of Linepar, had filed an application before the district and sessions judge on Feb 8, stating that the B-section police had arrested him along with four other people. He said he was later released but the four others were still in the lock-up.

The judge directed judicial magistrate Ali Gul Khaskheli for the raid who recovered Mohammad Ramzan and Mohammad Ahsan kept illegally in the lock-up.

The SHO and staff of the police station were ordered to appear in the sessions court on Feb 13.

Ahsan and Ramzan told journalists that Atif and Pervez were still in police custody.
