US host Katie Halper has said that voicing concerns about Palestinians “can get you fired or blacklisted” as the US extends all-out support to Israel in the ongoing conflict.
“I just saw a mainstream Hollywood actor post some good RTs and I’m scared to give her a shout out because I worry that openly caring about Palestinians can get you fired or blacklisted,” Halper wrote in a post on X.
It comes as apprehension increases in the United States about voicing support for the Palestinians. A senior State Department official quit over the White House’s Gaza policy, according to HuffPost.
