PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has issued a list of the most wanted militants across the province with mostly from Swabi district.

The list carries names of 127 militants with the highest head money of Rs8 million against Said Qadar followed by Rs7 million against Zahir Qadir – both residents of Katlang area of Mardan district.

Of 127 militants, 27 are from Swabi followed by 16 each from Dera Ismail Khan and Bannu districts.

The list also carries details of 15 militants from Mardan, 13 from Lakki Marwat, 10 each from Shangla and Buner districts, nine from Swat, four from Peshawar, three each from Charsadda and Nowshera districts, whereas one militant in the list hails from Khyber tribal district.

Earlier on September 28, the CTD had issued a list of 134 most wanted militants, including Quratul Ain, a 37-year-old woman from Dera Ismail Khan district.

The list carried names of 33 militants from Dera Ismail Khan, 25 from Swat, 12 from Kohat, nine from Swabi, seven from Peshawar, six from Mardan, five each from Shangla and Nowshera and four each from Buner, Charsadda, Malikabad and North Waziristan.

The list also carried details of three militants each from Battagram and Karak, two from Abbottabad and one each from Lakki Marwat, Haripur, Mansehra, Attock, Khyber, Kohistan and Mohmand. It revealed that a militant, Mansoor, belonged to the Khost area of Afghanistan.
