KARACHI: Two men strangled

KARACHI, Feb 8: Two men were strangled to death in separate incidents here on Wednesday. Police arrested a man in Korangi while he was carrying a gunny bag containing a body.

Khair Mohammad told the police that the deceased, Jan Mohammad, 28, was his neighbour. He said that he had developed relations with Jan’s wife, Sakina, and they both planned to kill Jan Mohammad.

Khair told the police that he had come to the house of Sakina with his friend Yaqoob and strangled Jan to death. Police reached the house of Jan Mohammad in Bilal Colony, but Sakina was missing with her two children and Yaqoob.

In another incident in Gulbahar, Arif told the police that he found his cousin Mohammad Ahmed, 30, dead on arrival at the latter’s house. He said he found Ahmed’s hands and legs tied and a noose round his neck.
