KARACHI, Feb 8: The Chief Minister, Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, has called upon people to avoid anything which may hurt the feelings of others, and demonstrate greater religious harmony and understanding.

In a message for Yaum-i-Ashura, the chief minister said the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) reminded us of the supreme sacrifices rendered by him only for the supremacy of Islam.

“Imam Hussain gave his life to revive the true spirit of Islam till eternity,” Dr Arbab said. He said, “We all should follow Imam Hussain and work for the glory of Islam by adhering to his guiding principles.”—APP
