KARACHI: It’s official — Mahira Khan has tied the knot with her beau in an elegant ceremony, Dawn.com reported.

Pictures and videos flooded social media on Sunday night, confirming nuptials of the Humsafar actor with Karachi-based entrepreneur Salim Karim.

Reports suggested the wedding took place in Bhurban with select friends and family in attendance for an intimate gathering.

Ms Khan donned a beautiful ivory dress, which had all the trappings of a Faraz Manan design while her husband looks dapper in a classic black sherwani.

The superstar had opened up about being in love back in 2020, first on Rewind with Samina Peerzada, then with more details on an Instagram live hosted by fashion mogul Hassan Sheheryar Yasin.

When asked by Peerzada whether she was in love with someone special, a visibly sheepish and shy Khan had confirmed in the affirmative, adding “he’s not from the industry”.

The actor was previously married and is mother to Azlaan, who she said she’s “super, super grateful” for. “He’s the center of my world. My world revolves around him, and I feel the same way about Salim.”
