DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that political stability is must for bringing economic prosperity in the country.

Talking to JUI-F leader Kafeel Ahmad Nizami at his residence in Abdulkhel here on Monday, he said that his party always fought for the supremacy of Islam in the country.

He said that enemies of Pakistan were hatching conspiracies to create divisions among Muslims. However, he said that JUI-F would foil those conspiracies as always.

He said that annual ‘Mufti Mehmood Conference’ scheduled to be held on October 14 in Peshawar would prove a milestone in that regard.

Speaking on the occasion, Kafil Ahmad Nizami apprised the JUI-F chief of the preparations in Dera Ismail Khan regarding the conference.

He said that a huge rally under the leadership of JUI-F district emir Maulana Lutfur Rehman and district senior vice president Maulana Obaid Rehman would go from Dera Ismail Khan to Peshawar for participating in the conference.

Fazlur Rehman said that despite ruling Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for nine years, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf did nothing for welfare of people in the province.

He said that rhe southern region of the province was deliberately kept backward. He said all the mega projects in Dera Ismail Khan were completed during the tenure of his party.

The JUI-F also praised Kafeel Ahmad Nizami for rendering services for party and the area.

ACCIDENT: A female student was killed and driver of a rickshaw was injured in an accident on Multan Road here on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122, the rickshaw carrying college students collided with a road roller near Nawab Adda on Multan Road. As a result, a student was killed on the spot while the driver of the three-wheeler Farhat Shah was injured in the accident.

After receiving information, Rescue 1122 medical team rushed to the site and shifted the deceased and injured to hospital.
