Railways in final

LAHORE, Feb 2: Railways will meet Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) in the final of the second PFF Football League Cup beating Sindh Government Press 2-0 in the semifinals at Railways Stadium on Thursday.

The winners of the prefinals also qualified for the National ‘A’ Division League. International striker Zaheer Abbas struck a goal to help Railway chalk out 2-0 win against Sindh Government Press.

Railway’s first goal came in the 27th minute when spearhead Nasir Khan found the target after beating keeper Nawaz. Railways score the second goal when Zaheer converted a fine pass from Naveed Riaz in the 30th minute.

Both Railways and KESC will replace Panthers Club and Pakistan Public Works Department (PPWD) in coming third Pakistan Premier League 2006.

Third-Place Match : SGP V PAF (2pm)

Saturday: (Final): KESC v Railways
