LAHORE, Feb 1: A private hospital room where Jamaat-i-Islami amir Qazi Hussain Ahmad is detained has been declared as sub-jail.

A JI press release said an eight-member police team had been detailed outside room 446 of the Doctor’s Hospital, Jauhar Town, which did not allow any visitor to see the ailing leader.

Questioning the government move, the press release said no challan, if any, had been sent to any court of law by the Punjab government.
