Minister condoles Wali’s death

CHARSADDA, Feb 2: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli visited Wali Bagh on Thursday to condole the death of veteran politician Khan Abdul Wali Khan with her widow Begum Nasim Wali Khan.

The minister expressed sorrow over the death of Wali Khan and prayed to God to rest the departed soul in eternal peace. She said that the country had lost a great leader who upheld democratic norms throughout his political career.

Wali Khan, she said, was a seasoned politician who set healthy trends in national politics. —-APP
