LAHORE: Film exhibitors and distributors gathered at a local hotel in Gulberg on Sunday to celebrate the success of the foreign film, Carry On Jatta 3, which has earned Rs 250 million at the box office in Pakistan.

Distribution Club Chairman Sheikh Amjad Rasheed spoke on the occasion, acknowledging the efforts of former federal minister for information Maryam Aurangzeb towards the revival of the film industry.

Film exhibitor Yahya urged Pakistani film producers to increase film production, suggesting that films shouldn’t be released only during Eid. He also highlighted Canada’s potential as a promising market for Pakistani films, particularly Punjabi ones.
