ISLAMABAD, Feb 1: Khayal Muhammad and Amir Atlas Khan were on Wednesday chosen to represent Pakistan in the squash doubles at next month’s Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Amir, a nephew of the great Jansher Khan, and Khayal topped the trials held at the Mushaf Squash Complex.

Other pairs which competed in the trials were Yasir Butt-Basit Ashfaq, Amjad Khan-Safeerullah Khan, Arshad Iqbal Burki-Majid Khan and Farhan Mahboob-Farrukh Zaman.

Pakistan will also take part in the singles event at the March-15-26 Games for which Mansoor Zaman and Shahid Zaman have been selected.

Jamshed Gul, despite failing to deliver as coach has been named by the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) to accompany the team.
